Luxury brand Great Hotels of the World adopts VScape Digital Asset Management System for the management and distribution of visual content online.

Toronto, ON, Canada and London, UK, England – August 7, 2013 – After years of working with travel industry technology leader VFM Leonardo to distribute images to travel websites for its properties, Great Hotels of the World has extended their VScape agreement to offer 100 of its luxury hotels and resorts access to VScape Premium. This enables them to simplify the management and distribution of their media and the opportunity to increase the number of images they display on travel websites, providing consumers with a stronger and more visually driven presentation of their hotels.

This agreement is driven by increasing travel consumer demands for hotel visual content and the positive impact images have on conversion and ADR. Doubling a hotel’s online pictures can result in 4.5% take-up and $3.50 higher ADR, according to a recent study by Expedia. Great Hotels of the World is responding by enabling their hotels and resorts to tell more compelling visual stories on travel websites and VFM Leonardo is providing the technology to help them do so.
