Leonardo Technology to Amplify the Way Churchill Living Properties are Presented on Travel Websites
Toronto, ON, Canada and Hawthorne, N.J. – July 24, 2015 – Leonardo Worldwide Corporation today announced that Churchill Living, one of the premier providers of corporate housing services in the U.S., has selected Leonardo’s technology to strengthen the way its properties are presented online.
Churchill has subscribed to Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System to easily organize their digital assets for storage, retrieval and distribution to VNetwork, the world’s largest network of travel websites, and enhance the visual presentation of its diverse portfolio of corporate, government and temporary housing on thousands of third-party travel websites in Leonardo’s VNetwork.
In particular, Churchill wanted to strengthen the visual experience of its properties on Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), after they added all their properties to Sabre (one of the GDSs part of Leonardo’s VNetwork) as well as to Online Travel Agencies, last year.
By choosing Leonardo, Churchill can upload the highest quality images to VScape (which has no limit on media resolution) to travel websites that are important for their clientele – this includes Lanyon.com, a corporate travel website that is part of Leonardo’s VNetwork. Previously, Churchill had difficulty ensuring their hotel properties were consistently represented on that channel and engaging corporate business travelers searching for accommodations on that travel website.
By choosing Leonardo’s technology, Churchill can ensure travel shoppers have a consistent experience no matter which travel site they’re using to shop and book accommodations online.
VScape Digital Asset Management System
VScape provides Churchill with the ability to:
- Use a single tool to syndicate visual content to over 170 Direct Connect travel websites and their affiliates, in the VNetwork, including all four GDSs, major OTAs, non-OTA travel research sites as well as tens of thousands of forward distribution channels.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of hotel photos by matching of photos to hotel listings, via an advanced automated matching algorithm
- Upload images in any size and format, allowing the system to automatically re-size and re-format the image to meet the requirements of the different platforms and devices
