Leonardo and Langham Hospitality Group Announce Expanded Partnership
VScape Digital Asset Management System Has Been Selected by Langham Hospitality Group to Manage and Syndicate Media to VNetwork
Toronto, Canada and Hong Kong – September 9, 2014 – Leonardo Worldwide Corporation today announced an expanded agreement with Langham Hospitality Group (LHG). LHG encompasses a family of distinctive hospitality brands which include The Langham, Langham Place and Eaton Hotels, residential serviced apartments, restaurants and spas, located on four continents.
The expanded agreement between Leonardo and LHG includes an enterprise-level subscription to Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System with the Media Approval & Workflow Engine add-on, and an upgraded Private Digital Library to bring greater efficiency to media sourcing, management, distribution and access for multiple properties and brands.
VScape Digital Asset Management System
VScape provides LHG with the ability to:
- Use a single tool to syndicate photos to over 120 direct connect travel websites which also enables tens of thousands of forward distribution channels in the VNetwork, the most extensive visual media syndication network in the global travel industry
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of hotel photos by matching of photos to hotel listings, via an advanced automated matching algorithm
- Upload images in any size and format, allowing the system to automatically re-size and re-format the image to meet the requirements of the different platforms and devices
Media Approval & Workflow Engine
LHG will utilize Leonardo’s Media Approval & Workflow Engine to enable properties to upload media directly to VScape for approval and syndication to travel websites in the VNetwork. This ensures that all LHG hotels’ most current visual content is effectively distributed to third-party channels timely and adheres to LHG’s brand standards.
Private Digital Library
Leonardo’s Private Digital Library (PDL) solution will allow LHG and its appointed partners to easily control and monitor the access to their hotel digital assets. Under this new agreement, LHG has upgraded its usage of the PDL to unlimited media storage and uploading capabilities. The PDL connects directly with the brands’ centralized VScape, eliminating the need to upload hotel media assets to multiple systems.
“We’re pleased to provide Langham Hospitality Group with a central system to easily manage every aspect of the way their member hotels are presented visually to online travel shoppers. This agreement is another testament to the value of our technology and the vastness of the network of travel websites we distribute content to,” said Leonardo’s President, John McAuliffe.
“Compelling media is one of the key features travelers look for when shopping online for hotels. We’re delighted to have a digital marketing solution that allows us to effectively manage and syndicate media by using one integrated system; improving efficiency, and ultimately, customers’ online experience, which will drive more bookings,” said Connie Law, Director of E-Business, Langham Hospitality Group.
