Leonardo Announces First-Ever Chief Scientist and VP Innovation
Victor Robison, Leonardo’s Chief Technology Officer for the past decade, has been appointed Leonardo’s first-ever Chief Scientist and Vice President Innovation and will lead the company’s research initiatives in key areas of interest applicable to Leonardo’s business and product offerings.

Increased Investment in Product Development Leadership
Along with Robison, Leonardo has also appointed Ranji Narine as Vice President Engineering, and Derek Wagland as Vice President Product Management. Narine and Wagland worked together at NexJ Systems, where they executed and refined a Managed Agile process that they will implement at Leonardo.
In the past year, Leonardo has also tripled the size of the UI/UX team to further invest resources in product development and fulfill its mission to develop innovative technology with stimulating visual design and incredible usability.
Accelerating Cloud-Based Infrastructure
As the demand for fast-paced online technology grows, Leonardo has been working with leading industry cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services since 2009 and has recently made an over $1.0 million investment in infrastructure – joining companies like TripAdvisor, Priceline, and trivago – to open a new North American Data Center campus at Equinix Ashburn Virginia, known as the “backbone of the internet” where most software companies host their cloud services as well. This investment will allow Leonardo to continue to provide cutting-edge technology solutions to the hospitality industry.
