Our Concept
Leonardo was established in 1996 with the aim of serving the travel industry. Specifically, our concept was to develop solutions and services that would simplify digital content image management, e-marketing and distribution across the entire travel distribution chain.
Traditionally, the travel industry had relied on print brochures, slides, photos and CD-ROMs as a way of distributing content. These costly and labour-intensive methods were hampered further by the growth in travel booking channels over the last 10 years. It became increasingly difficult to reach all relevant and vital partners.
Using e-technology, Leonardo set out to change this situation. We developed a central repository of high-quality travel industry images that are stored and accessed, digitally online. Around this central repository, Leonardo also developed a comprehensive range of digital content management and e-marketing solutions for the travel industry. Today, our solutions power many of the key GDS and Internet travel channels.
Using digital media, Leonardo allows its customers to slash printing, reproduction and distribution costs. Content is delivered electronically, which means customers get an instant, broad reach to their audience.
In turn, users have instant access to online image and marketing materials, anytime, anywhere.
