Sabre Travel Network Chooses Leonardo’s Technology to Offer Enhanced Visual Merchandising Opportunities for Hotels

Toronto, Canada and Southlake, Texas – October 29, 2014 – Leonardo Worldwide Corporation today announced that Sabre Corporation has expanded the adoption of Leonardo’s multi-media display technology to GetThere, a popular booking travel channel for business travelers. The adoption of Leonardo’s Multi-Media Web Galleries by GetThere follows the successful implementations on two other Sabre channels, Sabre Red and TripCase.

GetThere provides a powerful platform for millions of business travelers in 95 countries from government agencies and the world’s most recognizable brands to book business travel and manage expenses.

By embedding Leonardo’s Multi-Media Galleries containing hotel images, 360 tours and videos within their hotel details pages, GetThere provides travel shoppers with more immersive visual experiences as they research and book hotels. Hotel chains subscribing to Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System will continue to manage their media on GetThere but will also receive the added benefit of near real time updates to the images on their hotel details pages due to direct connectivity of their VPowered galleries within the VScape database.

Hotel properties that subscribe to Leonardo’s VBrochure Online Merchandising System will have the added benefit of a richer, more immersive experience with the ability to create customized viewers targeted for corporate and federal travelers, displayed on the hotel details pages of GetThere.

With GetThere in the VNetwork, the most extensive visual media syndication network in the global travel industry, hotels have the opportunity to reach and engage corporate travelers with a more visual story.
