  • I received the B.Sc. in Computer and Automation Engineering and the M.Sc. in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Bari. I started my research activity in the biomedical field, focusing on the applications of machine learning and deep learning to biomedical signals and images processing. The activity allowed me to achieve the Ph.D. in Electrical and Information Engineering at Politecnico di Bari.

I have been with the Space Technologies Lab since February 2021. My research activities focus on the application of machine learning and deep learning to the Earth Observation. I am focusing on the applications of deep learning to domains with small supervised data.

  • Artificial intelligence and image processing for earth observation and remote sensing

  • Several publications on artificial intelligence techniques applied in medical fields.
