Finmeccanica – Selex ES to provide search and rescue radar for Australia
Finmeccanica – Selex ES has been awarded a multi-million Euro contract from Cobham Aviation Services in Australia to supply a number of Seaspray 5000E Active Electronically Scanned Array surveillance radars. The radars will equip Cobham's Challenger CL-604 Search and Rescue aircraft and be used to provide airborne search and rescue services for the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.

The Finmeccanica-AgustaWestland AW139 demonstrates the benchmark helicopter for emergency medical service missions in Australia, with a further expansion of the commercial success achieved in the country by the company. During the Avalon Airshow (Melbourne), the best-selling AgustaWestland's helicopter type logged new orders for a total of 14 units, valued at approximately 200 million euro.
