Over the course of one week, from May 23 to May 29, Leonardo employees, family and friends will set off on a world tour to virtually travel a distance of 100,000 km, the distance between all 106 Leonardo global sites – by walking, running, cycling, swimming or any other physical means.
The challenge provides a unique opportunity for colleagues, friends, customers and suppliers from across the Leonardo community to connect with one another and collaborate to achieve this ambitious target while having fun and getting active!
Antonio Liotti, Chief People & Organisation Officer, says: “This initiative is a great opportunity for all Leonardo people to improve their well-being and grow our team spirit. After the pandemic and the adoption of the new hybrid model of working, the well-being of our people is increasingly at the centre of our priorities. We will be tracking progress made throughout the week of the challenge through Strava and sharing individual contributions through our social media channels using the hashtag #LDOWorldTour.
