Leonardo establishes its Commercial Paper Programme

Leonardo has established today its first Programme for the issuance of Commercial Paper on the European market (Multi-Currency Commercial Paper Programme). The securities that can be issued under this Programme are for a maximum amount of 1 billion euros and will be intended for qualified investors.

The Programme, with a duration of 3 years, will enable Leonardo to improve further and diversify its short-term funding instruments available to the Group for the financing of working capital and represents a further step forward in the Group's disciplined financial strategy.

The financial instruments, to be issued in one or more solutions during the validity of the Programme, will be listed on the ExtraMOT PRO professional segment operated by Borsa Italiana.

The Programme has obtained the following ratings: F3 from Fitch and Not Prime from Moody’s.

Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank has acted as Arranger; The Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV – Milan Branch will be the Paying and Calculation Agent.
Banca Akros S.p.A. – Gruppo Banco BPM, Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, Equita SIM S.p.A. and PKF Attest Capital Markets AV, S.A. will act as Dealers.


For the Programme, the Arranger and the Dealers have been assisted by Clifford Chance Studio Legale Associato and Leonardo by Legance Avvocati Associati as legal advisors.
