  • Profile: Dr. Francesco Salucci is a Research Fellow within the Electrification Unit of the Advanced Rotorcraft Technologies Laboratory of the Leonardo Labs initiative. His research activities started during his PhD at Politecnico di Milano and focus on conceptual design methods for hybrid-electric aircraft, as well as studies to assess the impact in terms of noise, gaseous emissions, potential market and required ground infrastructures in support of electric propulsion. Francesco pursued a BSc and an MSc degree in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2017 and was a visiting PhD student at Delft University of Technology in 2018.
