  • Born in Ribera (AG), Rosario is currently a researcher in Leonardo's artificial intelligence team. Before joining Leonardo in January 2021, he was Research Fellow at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia within the research laboratory “AImageLab”. From the point of view of education, he received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Palermo, and later received his Master's degree from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with a thesis on Deep Learning models for Visual Reasoning. During his activity at AImageLab, Rosario has participated in several projects of Computer Vision and Machine Learning applied in the industrial environment, collaborating with many companies including Tetra Pak and IMA. He is actively involved in the HPC management, AI and Big Data stream of research. Specifically, his projects are related to the development of AI algorithm for Computer Vision and Anomaly Detection applications. At the same time, he is involved in activities mainly in support of the Leonardo Helicopter Division, such as the data lake set-up for the storage and processing of the data related to the company business and other data driven applications.
