Finmeccanica welcomes PM's plans for closer Government and Industry ties

Following the British Prime Minister's announcement at the Farnborough International Airshow 2014, about investing further in capabilities for the armed forces and the Defence Growth Partnership – which aims to secure a thriving UK defence sector – Finmeccanica UK Chief Executive, Alberto de Benedictis, said: "Defence is an important contributor to the UK economy and a strategy to support its growth into the future, shared between Government and Industry, is the best assurance of its long term success. Finmeccanica is a major investor in British defence and we look forward to supporting to DGP."
