Manuel Colavincenzo

Ho cominciato il percorso universitario con una laurea triennale in Fisica seguita da una laurea magistrale in fisica teorica all’Università di Bari.

Dopo la laurea ho cominicato il percorso di ricerca accademica come dottorando presso l’Università di Trieste nel gruppo di cosmologia. Mi sono occupato prevalentemente di ricerca della struttura dell’Universo su grande scala mediante analisi di correlatori statistici.

A seguito del dottorato mi son trasferito a Torino dove ho cominciato un Post-Doc nel gruppo di Astroparticelle e Astrofisica. Durante i 3 anni di assegno di ricerca mi sono occupato dello studio della proprietà della materia oscura utilizzando in comunione dati astrofisici e cosmologici.

Dopo l'esperienza accademica, ho iniziato a lavorare come data scientist per in ambito automotive, occupandomi dell'attività di analisi dati per il monitoraggio dei veicoli della flotta e con l’obiettivo di migliorare l'esperienza dei clienti. Nel 2021 ho completato un master in machine learning e deep learning e all'inizio di novembre ho iniziato la mia attività come research fellow presso i Future Aircraft Technologies Labs di Torino.

Sto lavorando allo studio di una soluzione per la pianificazione delle missioni multi-agente per team di velivoli con e senza pilota. L'obiettivo è supportare il pilota nella gestione di missioni complesse. Oltre a questa attività, sto esplorando nuove soluzioni per sistemi di addestramento innovativi per supportare il lavoro degli istruttori con le nuove reclute. All'interno di questo progetto mi concentrerò anche sulla ricerca di nuove tecnologie per il monitoraggio delle prestazioni del pilota in grado di derivare lo stato cognitivo del pilota.
