Born in Genoa in 1972, he graduated with honours in Philosophy, and he has earned a master’s degree in Business Communication from Accademia di Comunicazione in Milan.

He began his career in business and scientific communication in 2000 working with increasing responsibilities in agencies, companies and institutions.

He has been Chief Communication Officer of Leonardo since 2021.

From 2018 to 2021, he served as Head of Communications and Media Relations at Dompé Holdings (Biopharma, AI and Robotics, New Materials, Financials).

He served as Director of Communications and Public Relations at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) from 2014 to 2018.

Previously, from 2008 to 2014, he held various roles at Edison as Head of Media Relations and Regional Public Affairs.

For several years, he was a Senior Consultant at Barabino&Partners, the first advisory company in corporate and finance communication.
