Francesco Rogo is Leonardo's Chief Information Officer since June 18, 2026.
He holds a degree in Computer Engineering, a Business Engineering Master’s degree, and a PhD.
From 2020 to 2026, he served as Head of Digital Solutions, contributing to the transformation of the company's IT into a globally integrated function. He supported the Group's solid economic and financial growth, strengthening the contribution of digital transformation as a competitive lever, both in internal processes and in products and services, for Leonardo's business.
From 2014 to 2020, he was the Group's Intellectual Property Manager.
Since 2006, he has held various roles in Group’s Product & Technology Governance and Open Innovation, representing Leonardo on several boards of the European Commission's Joint Undertaking for Industrial Research.
His professional career began in 2000 at Marconi, in Italy and the United States, working on embedded software for avionics and satellite communications. In 2006, he moved to Corporate.
He cultivates active relationships with the world of research and academic teaching, through which he continues to publish scientific papers in leading international journals on innovation.
He has always been a basketball coach, a passionate chess player and aviation history enthusiast.
