Leonardo: active health coverage for employees in case of Covid-19 infection

A package of guarantees and insurance services as an additional tool in support of the Company’s people is underway

With the aim of increasingly protecting its workers’ health, Leonardo has decided to activate extraordinary insurance coverage for the management of a possible Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection for all its employees in Italy and in all the countries where the Company operates.

Further to the measures already put in place to deal with the health emergency and limit the spread of the infection, Leonardo has signed an additional insurance measure that provides coverage to the costs related to any possible hospitalisation and the following recovery phase.

Leonardo is strongly committed to the prevention and protection of its workers’ health through the rigorous application of regulatory provisions and the implementation in Italy of an ad hoc protocol shared with the trade unions to combat the spread of Covid-19.
