AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, has been awarded contracts totally valued about EUR 260 million to supply helicopters for both commercial and government applications to customers in various nations including USA, Brazil, UK and Japan.

Contracts, signed during Heli-Expo, held in Anaheim, California, include a total of 24 aircraft such as the AW119Kx, GrandNew, AW139 and AW189, and support and training services. The helicopters will be used for off-shore transport, emergency medical service, search and rescue, firefighting, disaster relief, passenger transport.
