AgustaWestland signs a EUR 100 million contract with Milestone Aviation Group for eight helicopters

AgustaWestland signed a contract valued at approximately EUR 100 million with Milestone Aviation Group to supply five AW139 and three AW189 helicopters.

AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, signed a contract valued at approximately EUR 100 million with Milestone Aviation Group to supply five AW139 and three AW189 helicopters. The contract, signed at Heli-Expo, held in Los Angeles, California, is part of the companies framework agreement that, if fully executed, would amount to 44 helicopters to be delivered over the next four years.

The new order further strengthens the relationship with Milestone Aviation Group which has already taken delivery of 31 AgustaWestland helicopters, currently on lease to operators in Asia, Australia, Europe and America serving the offshore oil and gas, emergency medical service and search and rescue markets.

With this last contract, rises to EUR 360 million the value of the contracts signed by AgustaWestland at Heli Expo, the most important helicopter exhibition worldwide.

This contract further confirms the competitiveness of the AgustaWestland family of new generation helicopters (AW139, AW189 and AW169 models) on the global market and its success also among large fleet operators in helicopter leasing.
