Finmeccanica has once again been certified as a company of excellence in training, development and HR management. The Group has been named Top Employer 2012 in two countries Italy and the UK, an improvement on last year when it only received the certification in Italy.

The certification was awarded by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) Institute, the independent international organisation which has, since 1991, been assessing and certifying companies that offer outstanding human resources and best practices in the HR field. CRF publishes an annual report in each of the countries in which it operates (12 countries in 4 continents).

Finmeccanica was one of the best performing companies according to the following assessment criteria: corporate culture, training and development, career opportunities, working conditions and benefits, and remuneration policies; and in 2012 was also one of the countries that excelled in strategies to attract, motivate and retain talented employees.

Over 2,500 companies across the world have been certified as TOP EMPLOYERS, including many of the companies in the Fortune 500 list, multinationals, government institutions, public administration bodies, mass distribution companies, etc.

But what makes Finmeccanica a TOP company? The research identified five areas of excellence within the Group: an international, integrated development and training system that supports employees from the time they join the company until they reach, in some cases, senior management; listening to staff and continuously involving them in processes; the international dimension; expertise management; and the development of talented employees.

This certification is recognition of the transparent career development strategies, which have, once again, enabled Finmeccanica to obtain this prestigious, internationally-accredited “quality mark”.
