Giorgio Starace, Italian Ambassador to UAE, Victor Hurtado, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of USA to UAE, Khalfan Al Shamsi, CEO of the local company Frontiers, and senior representatives of Finmeccanica.

The office is home to several Group companies and aims to enhance the coordination and promotion of its business activities in the Gulf, to provide better assistance for the performance of current programmes, to support after-sales services and to respond effectively to the growing needs of Middle Eastern countries.

The Gulf countries are important partners for the Finmeccanica Group, whose companies have been active in the area for about 35 years. In particular, Finmeccanica is currently trying to expand its activities in the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar, in a broad range of industries. These activities include technology partnerships with local industry, the creation of joint ventures, technology transfers, and higher education courses to give powerful backing to these countries and their vision of development and ambitious plans for the future.
