In the meeting held yesterday, the Board of Directors of Finmeccanica was given an update by the CEO about the process for the disposal of Railway Transportation Sector of the Group.

In this regard, The CEO informed the Board that a constructive process with potential buyers is ongoing and that – on their request to complete the due diligence process in progress in order to express the best offers – an additional period of a few weeks was granted for the submission of the final offers on AnsaldoBreda.
