• Finmeccanica – Selex ES is NATO’s cyber security mission partner, delivering the NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC) Full Operational Capability (FOC).
• The managed service, which went live in May 2014, provides enhanced cyber defence to 52 NATO sites and headquarters throughout 29 countries.
• This expansion is part of the continual improvements to NATO’s Cyber Defence capabilities as part of the Cyber Defence Action Plan.

Finmeccanica – Selex ES has been awarded a contract worth 18.9M Euros to extend NCIRC FOC to a number of additional NATO sites over the next two years. NCIRC is the NATO service which leads the defence of the Alliance from the increasingly commonplace, sophisticated, and potentially-damaging cyber threat. NCIRC FOC is designed, implemented and operated by Selex ES and provides NATO with a world-class cyber-incident detection and management capability. It also provides a platform for capability expansion to support technical evolution as the cyber threat and associated battlespace evolves.

Since May 2014 when Selex ES put NCIRC FOC into operation, the company’s cyber security experts have been actively assisting NATO in monitoring and defending the Alliance’s cyber border. Following the success of the initial programme, this new contract will see Selex ES extend NCIRC FOC to a number of additional NATO sites, bolstering the breadth and depth of the service. It is part of the continual improvements to NATO’s Cyber Defence capabilities as part of NATO's Cyber Defence Action Plan.
