The Board of Directors of Leonardo, convened today under the chairmanship of Gianni De Gennaro, approved the displacement of Sectors as organizational units of the One Company structure.

In the multiyear process of Group’s transformation, Sectors played a key role in ensuring the operational continuity of the business and supporting the implementation of the new divisional model.

The Sectors entirely fulfilled their role and the rationalization and simplification of the operating model has become, consequently, necessary.

The rest of the Governance remains fully in place, with the organizational structure based on seven business Divisions and the Corporate Center, which is responsible for strategic directions as well as management and control system.

Lastly, so far the Group's performance will continue to be reported according to the current areas of activity (Helicopters, Aeronautics, Electronics, Defense & Security Systems and Space).
