Leonardo-Finmeccanica and the Argentinian Ministry for Science Technology and Productive Innovation, have recently signed in Buenos Aires a Memorandum of Understanding to evaluate commercial partnerships and to develop high-technology, in the fields of aerospace, defence and security.

 

The agreement involves the setting up of a work team consisting of skilled personnel with specific expertise in the sector from each of the parties involved in the agreement. The aim is to identify areas of cooperation and operative process to launch specific projects.

 

Mauro Moretti, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Leonardo, said: “This agreement further highlights Leonardo’s international scope and strong reputation in foreign markets which allows us to expand our relationships with a number of Governments. The memorandum signed today with the Argentinian Government strengthens our ties with a country historically close to Italy and underlines Leonardo’s commitment to the development of the South American market.”
