Leonardo has been confirmed as a leading company in the fight against corruption.   The successful completion of the annual surveillance audit for Leonardo’s ISO 37001 certification, issued by RINA, confirms the strength and effectiveness of the Company’s Anti-Bribery Management System. It also reflects Leonardo’s continued commitment to enhancing its governance framework in line with international best practices.

The process of aligning with the new ISO 37001:2025 Standard represents a further step forward in the development of the internal control and risk management system, strengthening an approach increasingly focused on a culture of compliance. The assessments conducted by the external certification body confirmed the effectiveness of the controls implemented by Leonardo to prevent bribery and corruption. They also recognised the Company’s ability to address emerging economic and social challenges in a structured manner, including those related to climate change and the prevention and management of conflicts of interest.

This milestone was achieved thanks to the commitment of Leonardo’s people, whose daily contribution is essential to promoting a strong culture of bribery prevention based on legality, awareness and the continuous improvement of the Anti-Bribery Management System. More than one hundred Leonardo employees actively participated in the audit activities, making a significant contribution to the successful transition to the new standard. The involvement of the Divisional Anti-Bribery Representatives was also particularly important. For the first time since their recent appointment, they participated directly in the audit process, helping to further embed a culture of compliance across the Company.

Leonardo achieved Certification for the first time in 2018, placing itself in the leading group of top ten international Aerospace, Defence & Security (AD&S) companies in possession of the recognition. The company system is subjected, on an annual basis, to surveillance activities by the external certifying body.
