The programme envisages the recruitment of talents in a global and technology-intensive company like Leonardo, through a training course in Advanced Management carried out in partnership with Luiss Business School.

With "Future Loading," Leonardo is launching an International Talent Programme to recruit talent from international backgrounds to strengthen evolutionary professional skills and contribute to the development of a wide-ranging innovation strategy. Through the programme, the company aims to recruit and train - through an internationally recognised Master in Advanced Management programme designed with a partner of excellence such as Luiss Business School - future managers capable of managing complex organisations, proactively guiding their technological and business evolution.

Antonio Liotti, Leonardo's Chief People & Organisation Officer, stresses, "The programme developed together with Luiss Business School, represents an absolute novelty because of the way it is designed, through the simultaneous recruitment and training of talents to address the growing need for distinctive high-profile skills, both technological and managerial, for our Company. A path," adds Liotti, "that represents an important piece of a broad and diversified recruitment strategy that, in 2022 alone, has led to the placement of around 5,000 people in the company, with a focus on  people under 30 years of age who represent 44% of new hires”.

The training programme, which lasts about a year and is carried out entirely in English, includes a path divided into several steps, at different Group locations, starting from Leonardo Headquarters in Rome, functional to the knowledge of the complex company context and fulfilled also through an experience abroad and the aid of innovative teaching methodologies.

People selected will learn the most advanced techniques of project management and system engineering, to lead high-performance teams in multicultural, technology-intensive environments, in an international context, and thus acquire the skills needed to transform strategic decisions into targeted actions, developing strong leadership skills. The main objective is the acquisition of skills aimed at assuming strategic roles in Leonardo in the future, through constant professional growth.

The macro-areas on which the courses are focused include the most current challenges in the management of complex companies: from Innovation, Marketing & Creativity to Leadership & Social Skills, from Engineering & Operations Management to Strategic Decision Making and Accounting, Finance & Governance.
