Institutes of Technology: Education, Training, Work
Institutes of Technology are two-year higher education technical specialisation courses designed to train ‘super-technicians’ possessing not only the skills defined by the education system, but also those required by modern enterprises. 50% of teaching hours at Institutes of Technology are delivered by schools and universities and 50% by companies.
This type of institute offers significant opportunities to both young people and businesses – its higher education running parallel to other academic pathways and integrating education, training in the field and work experience.
For more information, visit the website of the Italian Ministry of Education.
The Leonardo Institutes of Technology comprise a variety of in-house Group lecturers who alternate throughout the two-year course. The tutors pass on not only their knowledge and skills, but also a passion for their work, promoting local excellence and serving as enablers of growth and employment.
