Air domain: connected systems for operational superiority
In the air domain, operational advantage increasingly depends on the ability to create collaborative and interoperable architectures by integrating manned aircraft, uncrewed systems, sensors, communications, artificial intelligence, simulation, and training.
Observe, process, connect: Space, an increasingly crucial domain
From emergency management to infrastructure security, through to the protection of assets in orbit and new space services, Space is becoming increasingly crucial for understanding complex phenomena and acting rapidly. Constellations, sensors, on-board computing, ground segments, geospatial services, Space Surveillance and In-Orbit Services are transforming the space domain into an operational capability connected to the other domains.
Multi-role ships: integration, flexibility and operational superiority
In the current international context, multi-role ships are becoming increasingly strategic platforms due to their ability to operate in different domains, integrating surveillance, defence, and operational command capabilities. Leonardo is contributing to their effectiveness with integrated systems for the management, control and protection of naval platforms.
From vehicle to system: the evolution of land defence
The ability to move, protect and coordinate forces in increasingly exposed scenarios is now one of the essential conditions for operational advantage in the land domain. This marks a paradigm shift from the single vehicle to an integrated system, in which vehicles, sensors, command and control, and effectors operate as part of a network.

Overview
Overview
In today’s rapidly evolving security landscape, the true value of any airborne system lies in its ability to seamlessly integrate innovations.
Leonardo’s ATOS (Airborne Tactical Observation and Surveillance) is an advanced mission management system ensuring real-time data fusion and enhanced tactical situational awareness, integrating and managing various sensors and subsystems in order to perform ISR missions.
Deployed on over 60 platforms worldwide, this ITAR-free system is fully customisable being the suite of sensors and equipment designed and selected to meet the specific operational needs of each end-user.
ATOS is continuously updated to address evolving operational requirements across national security, law enforcement and military domains.

The M-345 is an innovative jet aircraft designed for basic and advanced training of military pilots, both Italian and from other countries' air forces. Developed and built at Leonardo's Venegono (Varese, Italy) site, it is designated T-345A by the Italian Air Force, with the letter T emphasising its role as a trainer.
Together with the M-346, it is an integral part of an integrated training system that includes advanced simulators, ground training devices and LVC (Live, Virtual and Constructive) technology, which allows real-time interaction between pilots (students and instructors) in flight or on the ground, simulators and computer-generated forces, offering complex and realistic tactical scenarios – a capability now provided by the M-346.
