The Group will recruit 1500 youths, who will work in areas with high levels of technological and industrial content, for its main operating companies in Italy.

Rome  10 July 2013

The Finmeccanica Group has launched the "1000 young professionals for Finmeccanica" project as confirmation and renewal of its commitment to safeguarding and creating new skilled jobs.

The initiative, indeed, represents a concrete response to the youth unemployment problem in Italy and is aimed at young people under the age of thirty who hold degrees and diplomas in technical and scientific disciplines.

By the end of 2014, the Group expects to recruit 1500 youths, who will work in areas with high levels of technological and industrial content, for its main operating companies in Italy.

The 1500 young individuals who will become part of the Group will be joined by many others that will be "mapped" in terms of skills and competencies in order to be subsequently oriented towards either technical training or Finmeccanica’s supply chain companies.

A section dedicated to the project will be published shortly, which will contain all information relative to the companies involved, the profiles sought, the nomination procedures, and the selection process.
