Antonio Liotti, Leonardo’s Chief People & Organization Officer: “Welfare creates value for people, the company and the country”.
Leonardo has received the "Italian Welfare Excellence" recognition at the Global Welfare Summit, Italy's leading event dedicated to the to the future of corporate welfare. The award, which celebrates Italian excellence in the field, was presented during the event held at Villa Miani in Rome.
Antonio Liotti, Leonardo's Chief People & Organization Officer, commented: "Receiving the 'Italian Welfare Excellence' award recognizes a journey that Leonardo has built over time and is a source of great pride for us. More importantly, however, it represents both an incentive and a responsibility: to continue innovating and helping to set a course that can become a benchmark for other organizations as well. Welfare creates value when it ceases to be merely a collection of services and becomes an integral part of how a group cares for its people, while at the same time strengthening the quality, competitiveness and future of the company".

With approximately 67,000 employees worldwide and a plan to recruit 17,000 new hires over the next three years, Leonardo aims to further strengthen an increasingly flexible welfare model, capable of meeting the wide range of skills, professional profiles and operational contexts that characterize the Group.
Leonardo's commitment in this area is reflected in concrete initiatives focused on health and prevention, psychological support, financial wellbeing and family assistance. More than 25,000 employees participate in prevention programmes, over 7,000 psychological support sessions have been provided, and more than 100 Welfare Coaches are currently active across the company.
