The sixth edition of the Aerotech Academy Pomigliano – an advanced training programme dedicated to developing new skills in the field of industrial engineering, born out of a collaboration between Leonardo and the University of Naples “Federico II” – came to a close with the graduation ceremony on 16 and 17 July. The second edition of the Aerotech Academy Grottaglie, organised by Leonardo in partnership with the Polytechnic University of Bari and the University of Salento, has also come to an end.

The initiative confirms the Group’s commitment to developing qualified professional profiles through a model that combines classroom training, on-the-job activities, seminars, testimonials from the industrial world and project work on application cases linked to the company’s activities. The programme is designed to bring young graduates closer to the world of work and strengthen the connection between university, industry and the local area.

Now in its seventh edition, the Aerotech Academy will continue in the 2026/27 academic year. The new cycle, which will start in October 2026 at Leonardo’s Pomigliano d’Arco site, is open to a maximum of 50 participants holding at least a three-year degree.
