Alessandra Genco, Chief Financial Officer of Leonardo, elected as shareholder representative on the Supervisory Board of BASF SE

Alessandra Genco, Chief Financial Officer of Leonardo, has been elected as the new shareholder representative on the Supervisory Board of BASF SE. Within the same Supervisory Board, she has also been elected a member of the Audit Committee and the Appointments Committee.

Her appointment comes alongside that of Stefan Asenkerschbaumer, chairman of the supervisory board of Robert Bosch GmbH and managing partner of Robert Bosch Industrietreuhand KG, Stuttgart. They succeed Anke Schäferkordt and Franz Fehrenbach respectively, who both left the Supervisory Board at the conclusion of the 2022 Annual Shareholders' Meeting.

Together with Genco and Asenkerschbaumer, the other current representatives of the Supervisory Board of BASF SE are Kurt Bock, Heidelberg, Germany (Chairman), Thomas Carell, Munich, Germany, Dame Alison Carnwath, Exeter, UK, and Liming Chen, Beijing, China. Their mandate will last until the end of the Annual Shareholders' Meeting in 2024.
