ATR and Nordic Aviation Capital increase the order on the 600 Series

On the occasion of the European Regional Association (ERA) General Assembly, Nordic Aviation Capital and ATR (joint venture between Alenia Aermacchi ed EADS) signed an agreement for the increase of the order referring to the ATR 72-600 placed by the Danish leasing company during the past Paris Airshow

On the occasion of the European Regional Association (ERA) General Assembly, Nordic Aviation Capital and ATR (joint venture between Alenia Aermacchi ed EADS) signed an agreement for the increase of the order referring to the ATR 72-600 placed by the Danish leasing company during the past Paris Airshow.

The new order contemplates 15 firm ATRs and options for 25 aircraft, for a total commercial value of US$ 1 Billion. Over in the past months NAC has placed cumulative orders for a total of 50 firm ATR-600 series aircraft and options for 80.

"In the last years - Filippo Bagato, Chief Executive Officer of ATR commented - we have developed and consolidated a very fruitful partnership with NAC", adding that "NAC is playing a key role in expanding the popularity of the newest ATR-600s all over the world”.
