Roberto Cingolani: “The accusations against Leonardo are superficial and instrumental”

Roberto Cingolani, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Leonardo, in an interview by Federico Fubini in Corriere della Sera, refutes accusations of arms sales to Israel and complicity in the conflict in Gaza, emphasising that the company has not authorised exports to Israel since the outbreak of the conflict.

Leonardo's CEO and GM highlights the complexity of the situation and the need for broader reflection on the control of production chains in the defence industry, as well as the importance of investing in advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and drones for national security.
