The fifth edition of ITASEC, the main national conference dedicated to information security, will take virtually, between 7-9 April 2021. The prestigious annual event is organized by the National Cybersecurity Laboratory of CINI, the National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics and involves over 1,300 professors of Computer Science and Computer Engineering belonging to 39 public universities.

Leonardo are proud to be Platinum sponsors of the event, and will actively participate in various discussion panels and on Thursday 8 April, the Managing Director of the Cyber Security Division, Tommaso Profeta, will speak on a panel dedicated to the cybersecurity and to the aerospace.

During the three days, speakers will alternate on the podium with researchers, industry professionals and institutional representatives, who will address the most current and topical issues relating to cyber security. Alongside scientific dissemination sessions and those that 'imagine the future', a specific space will be dedicated to the National Cyber Security Perimeter. In parallel with the conferences, workshops and technical training sessions are also taking place.

To comply with the health security protocol imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the event will take place entirely online and for the first time, access will be possible after registering on the site. Stakeholder Track sessions and keynote speeches will also be broadcast on Youtube.
