Leonardo announces that it does not intend to subscribe for the potential capital increase announced by Hensoldt AG ("Hensoldt") as part of its acquisition of the German company ESG Elektroniksystem und Logistik GmbH, although it is fully supportive of its strategic rationale.
Leonardo remains committed to the European partnership project with Hensoldt with the aim of pursuing ever larger collaboration and integration for the strengthening and consolidation of European capabilities in Defence Electronics and Security in Europe.
